Spiced Pumpkin Seed Brittle | Aromatic Vanilla Cake

I like making peanut brittle across the holidays.  I bear in mind my Grandparents at all times had peanut brittle round throughout Christmas and having fun with it as a child.  I wish to make it now round Christmas, and I plan on doing it this 12 months.  However this Fall I believed some Spiced Pumpkin Seed Brittle can be scrumptious!  Why not make a seasonal twist on a favourite! It’s tremendous straightforward to make too!

Some peanut brittles have a number of extra components than mine however I discover that I do not want all of them.  Once I make common peanut brittle it has solely 3 components and comes out excellent each time.  This one 3 components with out the spices as nicely. For this one, I first added sugar, salt and spices to a pan.  I included the pumpkin pie spices, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves and truthfully it smelled superb whereas cooking.

It’s very easy to make, you simply soften all the components collectively in a pan over medium warmth stirring usually till the sugar melts and turns into fully liquid.  You need it to soften and begin to brown however not burn, and that’s if you add the pumpkin seeds and pour it out onto a pan.  You need to work rapidly because it hardens quick.  I used turbinado sugar this time as a result of that was what I had available, however you should use maple sugar or simply granulated sugar if you want.

This turned out so scrumptious and it was so easy to make!  It was candy, crunchy, evenly spiced and satisfying!  My husband cherished it a lot the whole batch was gone in about 2 days.  I imply it’s laborious to cease consuming it when you begin snacking!  In case you are within the temper for one thing candy, undoubtedly give this Spiced Pumpkin Seed Brittle a attempt!
