World franchising firm FAT Manufacturers introduced on Sept. 25 that it has bought the Smokey Bones Bar & Hearth Grill restaurant chain from an affiliate of Solar Capital Companions. The $30 million transaction marks FAT Manufacturers first foray into barbecue and expands the corporate’s portfolio of polished eating chains.
FAT (Recent. Genuine. Tasty.) Manufacturers at present owns 17 restaurant ideas: Spherical Desk Pizza, Fatburger, Marble Slab Creamery, Johnny Rockets, Fazoli’s, Twin Peaks, Nice American Cookies, Sizzling Canine on a Stick, Buffalo’s Cafe & Specific, Hurricane Grill & Wings, Pretzelmaker, Elevation Burger, Native Grill & Wings, Yalla Mediterranean and Ponderosa and Bonanza Steakhouses. It franchises and owns about 2,300 items worldwide.
Smokey Bones Bar & Hearth Grill, a full-service restaurant chain specializing in barbecue, ribs, steaks and different slow-smoked, fire-grilled meats, operates 61 areas throughout 16 states. Darden Eating places based the idea in 1999, opening the primary location that 12 months in Orlando, FL. An affiliate of Solar Capital Companions purchased Smokey Bones in 2008.
