Cocoa & Forests Initiative companions reveal conservation progress in West Africa at COP28



Ghanaian panorama options to fight deforestation

On 3 December, the WCF and IDH, alongside the Ghanaian Minister for Lands and Pure Sources, unveiled the groundbreaking efforts of CFI in fostering sustainable forest conservation partnerships in Ghana’s Asunafo-Asutifi space.

The general public-private partnership in Ghana includes designing and implementing landscape-wide options to environmental challenges, specializing in combating deforestation as a consequence of logging and agricultural growth.
