Bonnetti Mac & Cheese, Homestyle – Al Dente Pasta Firm

Bonnetti Mac & Cheese, Homestyle

  • 8 oz Al Dente Golden Egg Bonnetti
  • 1 c. skim or 2% milk
  • 1/4 c. lowfat plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • Boil generously salted water for bonnetti. Add pasta to water as soon as delivered to a boil and prepare dinner for five minutes, till al dente.

  • In the meantime, soften butter in a saucepan, being cautious to not burn.

  • Add flour, garlic powder, and salt to melted butter. Stir till virtually brown.

  • Add milk to saucepan, stirring consistently.

  • Add Greek yogurt. Stir, and warmth on medium-high warmth for five or so minutes till combination thickens.

  • As soon as combination has thickened, scale back to low warmth, and add cheese, permitting it to soften.

  • As soon as cheese combination is melted, add cooked pasta.

  • Serve instantly and luxuriate in!
