Uno Pizzeria & Grill has launched a limited-time-only menu that includes New Orleans and Mardi Gras-inspired flavors, in response to a press launch.
The brand new dishes embrace:
- Massive Simple Gumbo: A bowl of rooster, shrimp, and andouille sausage gumbo with rice, greens and traditional Cajun seasoning.
- Tacky Grits and Shrimp Appetizer: Shrimp sautéed with bacon, onion and a housemade Makers Mark BBQ sauce served over tacky grits.
- Seasoned Fried Shrimp Appetizer: Shrimp dusted in seasoned flour and deep fried to a golden brown. Served with a housemade remoulade sauce.
- New Orleans Pasta: A mixture of rooster, shrimp, andouille sausage and seasoned plum tomatoes sautéed with garlic, celery and UNOs spicy alfredo sauce. Tossed with rigatoni.
- Mike’s Sizzling Honey Rooster and Cornbread: In-house baked cornbread topped with crispy rooster tenders and drizzled with Mike’s Sizzling Honey. Served with maple aioli.
- Cajun Ribeye and Grilled Shrimp: A ten-ounce alternative ribeye grilled to order with jazzy Cajun seasoning and served with a skewer of basil-marinated shrimp. Served with two sides.
- Jambalaya Deep Dish Pizza: A deep-dish dough stuffed with bayou-seasoned shrimp, rooster, andouille sausage, seasoned plum tomatoes, caramelized onions and celery. Topped with freshly grated mozzarella, cheddar and asiago cheeses.
- Andouille Sausage Bayou Skinny Crust Pizza: Housemade dough and marinara sauce topped with andouille sausage, caramelized onions, mozzarella, ricotta and banana peppers.

Having lived in New Orleans for a portion of my life, I’m keenly conscious that New Orleans and Mardi Gras rejoice neighborhood, meals and enjoyable. These are qualities which are alive and nicely in all of our UNOs places daily,” Erik Frederick, CEO, stated within the press launch. “We wish to give our friends menu choices which are a bit completely different than what you’d usually see at UNOs, or every other eating places for that matter.
