Spirit of Gallo has introduced it is going to distribute Korean soju manufacturers Soonhari, Chum Churum and Saero within the US from January 2024, in partnership with Lotte Chilsung Beverage Co.
Lotte’s soju manufacturers have beforehand had restricted availability within the US, offered primarily throughout Asian specialty shops. Gallo’s partnership will broaden distribution throughout all different channels.
Senior vice chairman and common supervisor for Spirit of Gallo, Britt West, stated: “The soju class doubled within the US over the previous 5 years, pushed by accelerating shopper demand.
“The most recent era of drinkers has been driving the expansion and is popping over the soju class on account of its selection, comfort, and accessible value level. We’re getting into the class at a pivotal second with the strongest companion, and we sit up for capitalising on this chance,” West added.
After Jinro, Lotte Chilsung Beverage Co is the world’s second largest soju producer, claiming to be the primary to make soju with mineral wealthy alkaline water.
Its soju portfolio gives flavoured (Soonhari), unflavored (Chum Churum), and nil sugar (Saero).
