The GlenDronach Distillery has introduced the annual launch of The GlenDronach Grandeur Batch 12.
This newest expression is 29 years previous and composed of a collection of sherry casks chosen by Grasp Blender Rachel Barrie.
“Yearly since its inception in 2010, every restricted version batch of The GlenDronach Grandeur collection has been extremely anticipated and acclaimed, revered by connoisseurs and malt whisky aficionados for its character and full-bodied type and that is considered one of its most luxurious expressions thus far,” says Barrie. “Grandeur Batch 12 is bound to be no exception, crafted from a bespoke collection of our oldest and most luxurious Oloroso sherry casks.”
With a shade of darkish mahogany, Grandeur Batch 12 has notes of sherry aromatics on the nostril, based on the distillery. The palate results in flavors of raisin, cocoa and espresso earlier than a tobacco and sherry-soaked end.
The GlenDronach Grandeur Batch 12 is 49.2% ABV. It’s obtainable in restricted portions for the advised retail value of $830 per 700-ml. bottle.
This follows the discharge of The GlenDronach Cask Power Batch 12.
